Confession of a 1st time Credit Card User
July 27, 2006 by dryxanne
yeah u may laugh, i never had credit card before, n i dont think its a shame.
it was more like a way to control my expense, knowing dat without credit card i already spent more than i should (i never spent more than i earnt), and with one probably would sent me bankrupt.
no, im not bankrupt now, though i have one card already. im just bleeding from knowing the details i have to pay. i dont regret i treated some friends dinner n stuff (guys, i dont mind, really…), but it’s more like surprised to see actually how much i spent when all the bills are combined into 1 single bill. that is my credit card bill. i havent received it, its not gonna come until next month but i asked to the call center n they told me the figures, which shocked me like, what? waw…
i guess now i have proved few things to myself. 1, i should just stick to only 1 or max 2 credit cards in future. 2, the shock therapy actually works. See, part of my intention getting the card was to see all bills combined into 1, to shock me how much i actually spend in one month, and it works. Now that i know the figure, i know where all my money goes, i should be more careful spending money. Not being stingy but being more choosy what to spend n what to hold back.
just dont wanna be like Rebecca in the Shopaholic series hehe….
but now, even while im typing this, im already thinking of things to buy (or to spend) next…really, someone should be controlling me from buying things n bringing home those tempting shopping bags…
now just looking forward to see the bill coming….
get a husband.
he’ll stop you from maxing out your credit card.
whether by paying all the bills for you, or just simply by cutting your card in two, hahahaah ….
hahaha…gak pa pa lg lin…gw jg sampe skrg belum mau bikin credit card neh…tp kage juga loh gw, bahwa seorang linda baru skrg ini bikin credit card

Henry, dats why…i was afraid i couldnt pay it (n i dont wanna get myself drowned in debts) n i never applied for one
now dat i consider im able to afford, i got one
i always love my atm/debit card, n thinking to reuse it more than the credit card now haha…but u see, there are places where debit card is not applicable, thats where u need to have one credit card
like i said in ur blog, as long as u sure can keep the balance n use it wisely, it should be safe enough
MarkO, nope, i aint getting a husband to pay me my bills, or to cut my card in two either haha…what i do, im responsible for it, including my expenses
n meanwhile, i got 2 nicest persons in d world to remind me from swiping my card 2 often : my mum n my elder bro
