Desired vs Needed

Ever thought of why sometimes we buy things we have desire for (i.e : want or crave for) but not things we actually need?
like, buy a dog-shaped cute ring…
God it’s so damn cute…saw it last nite on one shopping mall n i was like : hey i have hair pin with exactly the same type of dog n blue stones! Why not buy it to match them? So this morning i’m wearing my brand new cute doggy ring…
While what i need now is new pants for work, new ankle boots for work too, new SIM Card for the idle cellphone (well this one not really need…), new running shoes (hell yeah coz i REALLY MUST lose some weight), new boyfriend (yeah right haha…)
But, one dog-shaped cute ring can hold all those needs for a while i guess…hehe…
Who says i cant spend some money on some useless yet pleasuring things?
1. i could indulge myself on something as insignificant as the one you mentioned above, yet it feels like i could get fully satisfied with it - that it’d make my day…
2. i’d like to sign up for the running mate, IF there’s an opening, and about an opening for a boyfriend…
hmm…
like i said once, who needs them anyway?
take me for an example, i live on without them!
