(All Good Things) Come to an End

Currently is in deep love with this song.
I was never a fan of Nelly Furtado for reasons I can’t explain why. And I don’t know either. It’s just Nelly Furtado never had a song that succeeded to cling to my ear, and heart.
But she did this time.
Started with "Promiscuous", a song that is quite different than her old songs (if I’m not making mistakes guessing her old type of songs) that easily caught my attention, and lingered for days, even months. To see Nelly Furtado moved so smoothly, dressed up so nicely (and sexy!), really tickled my curiosity. And then came other songs like "Man-eater", and "Say It Right".
But it was "All Good Things Come to an End" that really caught my attention and heart. The lyric is just too touching. And too sad. No connection with the video, though, to speak the truth I got lost trying to understand the video.
But, the lyric was just too tragic. A bit desperate. And so true.
Because, everything will eventually come to an end. So, why should GOOD THINGS HAVE A DIFFERENT FATE?
No.
Good things, like bad things, will eventually come to an end. Die. Vanish. No matter how good you maintain them.
I guess, it’s very true that there’s a saying, Nothing Lasts Forever.
