Fitting In

My new room, has some things that meet my expectations, yet some other things don’t.
Those that meet what I expect, are such as the size, the bathroom, and the bed.
Those that don’t are such as, the lamps (they’re just not bright enough that I can’t read for long!), the AirCon (not as cold as I thought it would be), and the air circulation. The last one is still under suspicion, because naturally an air-conditioned room is quite sealed, so the air circulation might not be as better as my old room which has an exhaust fan installed, thus provided me with quite clean air although I didn’t wipe the floor and the room for entire 3 weeks.
Ooopss…forget the last line.
Anyway…
I’ve been down with cold for almost the whole 1st week of my stay. At first I suspect that it was caused by the cold temperature from the aircon, but I doubt it now. I did stay for 3 weeks in a hotel room last year, and during that time I never caught cold at all. Perhaps because of good breakfast and daily consumption of food, but perhaps because the air circulation as well. I remember the 1st few months of my work when I worked in an apartment, I caught cold EVERY WEEK OR SO. Started Monday, then got better on Wednesday or Thursday, then next Monday it began again.
I’m suspecting my current room is like that.
Maybe I should find more time to work more on those boxes. I have unpacked several of them, and unpacked 3 suitcases as well, but there are still 4-5 boxes left, which I don’t know where to put their contents, that’s why I keep pending to unpack them. And I can’t find those damn bolts and whatever that are supposed to be used to "re-built" my wooden rack that I can use to put all the books and magazines. Also I have to sort which shoes can be put outside my room, and which should be kept inside the room, i.e. the good/expensive ones. Problem is, that sounds like putting outside those you are willing to lose if someone steal them, and I AM NOT WILLING TO LET ANYONE STEAL MY SHOES. ANY PAIRS OF THEM, DOWN TO THE UGLIEST ONES.
Another thing is, I’ve been dehydrating. There’s no VIT provider around, there’s only AQUA, and they don’t deliver. They require you (or anyone else you pay) to pick up your water order. And they don’t have books or dvds rental around here. And choices of food are limited, unless I walk out to the main street, which will take me 15 mins, which may result in I’m losing weight in a long term. Which is a good thing. Or not, if it’s malnutrition instead of losing weight?
Damn…
Never thought I’d kinda miss my old dorm…
